Household Items

ACCESS accepts some new or gently used household items, on an as-needed basis.  Please call if you want to donate:  515-292-0500.

We strongly encourage you to donate your items to local food banks,  the Story County Furniture Bank, and second-hand stores.  We commonly refer our clients to these resources when they are in need of items.  We simply do not have the storage space to accept many items directly. 

If you are looking for ideas for donations to provide, we are happy to work with you.  Some examples of drives that are always welcome include diaper drives, non-perishable food drives, paper drives (office type supplies, napkins, toilet paper, notebooks for journaling), or gift card drives to help clients purchase gas for travel, groceries or household items.
